  1. @vishae I love it. I got the paperback in 1983 which has the film poster cover, but it’s the original story, not the book of the film. Read it before seeing the film which is good but overrated. The book story is much better. NOT a replicant! 2049 was amazing. and relax

  2. @Cassinato I only watched the original when 2049 came out. I watched the original, then the four (?) Official Short movies on YoutTube that’s supposed to link the two movies, then went to the cinema to watch 2049 all on the same night.

  3. @vishae Ah! But which version of the original? Too many new versions ruined the original for me. Still a good film, just not the icon I once thought – for me! Ryan Gosling lying in the snow at the end was the equal of Rutger’s ‘tears in rain’ scene. Hope you enjoyed it all, tho’.

  4. @Cassinato I had to look up all the versions to try to figure which one I watched. I believe it was the first version. It didn’t have any voice overs and no unicorn dream.
Also, since I didn’t watch it till recently, I can’t say I enjoyed the movie; it was too dated.
    But I loved 2049.
